Ladies Be Careful About Spy Cameras…

April 30, 2010 6 comments

In this modern world, technology is so advanced that the size of video cameras is almost equal to size of a small Coin which can be placed in pockets, shoes and pens etc… These cameras are cheaply available in market with different colors, shapes, sizes and any body can install and use it with ease.

Ladies be careful coz you are not safe in public places. When ever you go out for shopping you will check your new outfit in the fitting room thinking that you are alone. Modern Cameras can be placed in public dressing rooms and Rest Rooms which can’t be easily noticed by Humans eye. These cameras can take pictures and videos and can be controlled remotely. These pictures and videos captured can create havoc in your life.

Try avoiding mini skirts when ever you go to public places, spy cameras can be placed in shoes as well. Watch out for the person who stands next to you. He may be getting closer to your leg which gives him a chance to take photos from bottom of your legs.

Couples watch out when you are in hotel rooms and other public places. You make like your privacy and you don’t want others to monitor and misuse your actions. Cameras can be placed in Pens, wall clocks and flower vas as well which is common in hotel rooms and public places and I am sure you will not notice this.

So Prevention is better than cure! Always check the surroundings and stuffs placed when you are in public places. You can protect yourself by using wireless camera detectors which can detect spy cameras around you. You can report this kind of suspicious activities to near by police station and case can be filed under section 509 (for using word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of woman) of IPC.

Betting In India! Can it be legalized?

April 22, 2010 2 comments

Betting is an activity of predicting the results. Especially sports betting is a multi billion business around the world. Betting market is growing day by day and in India Betting activities are illegal.

Now, let’s talk about IPL cricket Matches in India. Recently we have been hearing news from media about huge scam happened with IPL Franchises. Huge amount of black money is sloshing around. Usually this money is sent to bookmakers and people get back the money when they win the bets. These transactions are hidden from Income Tax Department to avoid the Tax. People do lot of circus to utilize their black money and make huge bucks with out paying tax to IT department.

There should be some way to monitor and control the flow of black money and I think this can be done by making betting legal in India has in other countries like US and UK. If Betting is legalized in India all these transactions are put on papers and government can tax it their by generating huge revenue. Government should allow bookmakers to create Betting market in India so that the black money will not flow out of India. Legalizing betting can help in more tax paying business and also help people to convert their black money to white money.

Ok coming to the point, Betting on sports is controlled by bookmakers. These are the people who accept Money online from the people and maintain their bets for a given event. There are more number of online bookmakers who provides betting service to Indian market. I am not sure if there is any law in India which avoids an individual to use this bookmaker’s service that are based outside India. Usually these bookmakers maintains an account for an individual who wants to bet. They accept Credit cards, PayPal and bank transfers etc for sending and receiving money.

Paddy Power is one such Bookmaker . You can try and explore more!

IPL Cricket and Bomb Blast

April 19, 2010 4 comments

April 17th was a lucky day for me. I had been to IPL match between Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians in Bangalore. This was my first ever cricket match seen live in the stadium. Most of my favorite players like Dravid, Sachin, and Kallis were playing in that match. The stadium was completely occupied with almost 40,000 people waiting for their favorite cricket players playing cricket. I was occupied in the RC Fan Terrace stand and the entry to the stand is from Gate13. This stand is vertical to the Pitch and that was a nice view to watch the game.

I was all set in my seat and the match is supposed to start at 4PM. All the players were practicing in the ground and entire stadium suddenly started making a huge noise, when I looked into the ground I saw Sachin walking to wards the practice area. What a man! Sachin was waving his hands toward the crowd. I was surprised to see Sachin Tendulkar live in front of me and that’s a dream come true for me.

Now the time was 3:45PM, both the captains came to the ground with Sunil gavaskar for the toss. Suddenly I heard a Huge Noise in the back side area of my stand, Oh My God that was a Bomb blast. The Low Impact bomb got blasted next to my stand. People in the stadium didn’t react to the bomb blast as every one was busy watching their favorite player in the ground. All of sudden I saw the message in the screen saying the match is delayed. Damn! This was very frustrating to me as I was very eager to watch my first ever cricket match live in the stadium.

All of sudden, security people and police personals came towards the ground. Bomb diffuse squad came to the ground and diffused other bombs kept near other gates of the stadium. Finally police gave the clearance for the match. The Match started 1Hr lately and I really enjoyed both the teams playing very nicely.

Hmmmm, I still can’t believe I was sitting near to a Bomb. What if the Bomb is huge and can cause huge impact? There were 40,000 people in the stadium. It was really luck that nobody got hurt. This clearly shows the level of security police has to take in this cases.
